Tatler Thailand boosts its digital and events offering

29 March 2021 – Tatler announces a new strategy for reaching its target audience in Thailand by focusing on digital content and events.

With the launch of a new Tatler website due in July 2021 and new events such as OffMenu Thailand which launched this March, Tatler Thailand will shift its editorial strategy towards increased engagement through digital and events, and as such, the Tatler Thailand print magazine will halt production in April before returning later this year.

“Tatler has a very unique relationship with an extremely influential group of individuals across the region—that’s Tatler’s biggest strength,” says Michel Lamunière, CEO, Tatler Asia Group. “We have seen an increase in engagement with our community across our digital platforms and through bespoke experiences. As our current licensing agreement will end this April, we are taking the opportunity to reassess our print product in Thailand and to prioritise community engagement.”

Tatler has invested in its digital offering over the last twenty four months by hiring talent across digital, events, data and audience growth. The pause in print production will enable the brand to improve digital infrastructure before relaunching a Tatler Thailand print magazine.
“Print is an important component of Tatler’s portfolio and we’ve seen growth across the region since our major redesign last year, and we want to do the same for the Tatler Thailand’s print magazine”, Lamunière said. “The pause in print production for Thailand is temporary to allow us to do this and we look forward to sharing more news on the relaunch of the magazine in due course. In the meantime, our team will prioritise digital growth and engagement through experiential initiatives.”
