Singapore Tatler Unveiled Generation T List 2018—50 Young Game Changers And Achievers Shaping Singapore’s Future

[SINGAPORE – 10 May 2018, Thursday] Singapore Tatler unveiled the 50 individuals part of Generation T List 2018 with an extraordinary celebration at private members club 1880. This is the third list released in Singapore, as well as the third year of Asia Tatler’s regional Generation T initiative. Generation T, or Gen.T for short, is a list of 50 young achievers across various industries including entrepreneurs, creatives, and innovators who are shaping the future of Singapore. Says Corinne Ng, Managing Director of Edipresse Media Singapore, “Our Generation T List is a microcosm of the actual arsenal of talent needed to shape a city. We have individuals from a spectrum of industries—from finance to tech, to design, to music —who are quietly breaking boundaries. They are the ones making Singapore multi-dimensional, and we hope they can use Gen.T as a springboard to further success.”

The event started with an exclusive 4-course dinner for the current crop of Gen.T listers who dined along with select past years’ Gen.T listers as well as industry heavyweights. A lively panel discussion on the importance of collaborations and partnerships in business capped the intimate dinner. Moderated by 1880 Founder Marc Nicholson, industry veterans Teh Hua Fung and Iqbal Jumabhoy provided insights on the fundamentals of good business partnerships while 2018 Gen.T listers Grace Sai, Leon Foo and Annabelle Kwok shared their experiences on the makings of fruitful collaborations.

The dinner was followed by the launch party, also held at 1880, where the 50 individuals were named and recognised in front of an audience of over 150 young movers and shakers. The current list features singers and scientists, blockchain engineers and fashion designers, as well venture capitalists and culinary experts—showcasing the varied pool of talent in Singapore.
