The Generation T annual list recognises young entrepreneurs and passionate leaders who are united by a shared drive to make their marks in industries such as art, technology, food and drink, fashion, design, medicine, science, music, film, environment and sport, shaping Thailand’s future for the better. In the weeks leading up to the highly-anticipated launch party, Thailand Tatler invited a distinguished panel of 18 industry heavyweights and influential business leaders – named the Tatler Tribe – to identify 50 outstanding individuals for the inaugural Generation T list.

Speaking at the launch in Bangkok, Thailand Tatler chairman Nigel Oakins said, “We are really pleased to be joining the Generation T family for the first time. This is a great way to celebrate 50 people under the age of 40 in the nation who have achieved significant accomplishments in their fields and who, most importantly, show promise in continuing to create a positive impact on society On a deeper level, Generation T is a celebration of motivation and success for the purpose of perpetuating them. We wanted to gather a diverse group of individuals who’ve made it and tell their stories in ways that they deserve to be told: as further encouragement to them and as an inspiration to others.”
An Asia-wide initiative, Thailand Tatler’s sister editions in China, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong also launched the 2017 lists for their Generation T communities, thus creating an ultimate pan-Asian network of top up-and-coming entrepreneurs.
