Tatler Dining's flagship food and drink festival, Off Menu, heads to the city of Macau for the very first time on November 18 and 19.
Spanning across two days by star chef pairings from the very best tastemakers of Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan and more, in collaboration with Galaxy Macau's very own master chefs, they all will be working their culinary magic on exclusive, one-off dishes that are only available at the festival, served poolside at Cabana at Banyan Tree Macau.
From Taiwan, we welcome Jimmy Lim, whose contemporary Singaporean restaurant JL Studio was awarded three Michelin stars just this past September. Fellow Singaporean Barry Quek of Whey will also be hopping over from Hong Kong to partake in the proceedings, along with Uwe Opocensky of Petrus at Island Shangri-La and Paul Lau of Tin Lung Heen. From Galaxy Macau, we're joined by Riccardo La Perna of 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana, Jan Ruangnukulkit of Saffron, and Chan Chek Keong of Feng Wei Ju.
From elsewhere in Asia, we have Jordy Navarra of Toyo Eatery in Manila, Pichaya "Pam" Utharntharm of Potong in Bangkok, Mung Lam Ng of Ensue in Shenzhen, and Lok Hin Yam, the executive pastry chef of Galaxy Entertainment Group. Taipei-based mixologist Seven Yi, known for his molecular mixology hub Room by Le Kief, will also present his innovative cocktails at the festival.
As Off Menu Macau coincides with the 70th Macau Grand Prix, an outdoor screen will broadcast the race live from the racetrack. The entertainment schedule will also feature live musical performances from the likes of DJ Mengzy and Chinky Eyes.
