Job description

  • Develop audience engagement and content distribution strategy across owned & operated, and third party platforms in collaboration with editorial teams in order to drive audience growth and engagement
  • Manage team of editors to handle operations of content distribution strategy, including:
    • Publishing, optimisation and tracking performance of content on Tatler homepages
    • Publishing and monitoring performance on Tatler Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts as well as handling community engagement on said platforms
    • Identifying and building further social growth strategies on new platforms/distribution channels in line with Tatler brand and audience growth needs
    • Managing publishing and distribution of newsletters, in collaboration with editorial teams
  • Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Tatler projects and business initiatives, including events and e-commerce, via distribution and social media strategies
  • Support print magazine releases by planning teasers and promotions around magazine releases, aimed at increasing visibility and perception of the Tatler brand
  • Support commercial/client initiatives by ideating social and distribution strategies, and handling boosting budgets, to ensure commercial objectives are met
  • Identify trending social stories and topics to help drive daily editorial content creation, and represent the voice of the audience by monitoring engagement and feedback to work with editorial teams in ideating new content ideas.
  • Establish and implement detailed and regular reports on audience and engagement to internal stakeholders
  • Work with product teams in building/ identifying CMS and tools that will drive efficiency in editorial workflows to ensure editors can effectively execute audience engagement and content distribution strategy



  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Journalism or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in digital media, preferably with working experience on social media as well as in content creation
  • Background either in managing teams or as high-level individual contributor, with deep experience in training and coaching editorial teams
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and tools such as Facebook (Creator Studio, Business Manager, etc), Instagram, YouTube, Crowdtangle as well as analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Chartbeat, etc.
  • Experience and understanding of Southeast Asian cultures and audiences is preferred
