Arts and Culture Editor, Asia (Hong Kong)


Lead editor for content for arts and culture content in print, digital and social media content platforms, with responsibilities for content creation, editing, source development and networking. Position includes collaboration with commercial, marketing and events teams to identify opportunities to leverage Tatler’s unique position as the leading luxury lifestyle media brand in Asia within the arts and culture industries.

This position directly reports to editorial director, Asia, with dotted line to regional digital content director


  • Oversight of arts and culture content across all platforms, with an emphasis on art and auctions across Asia; development of content plans for print, digital, social media and events related to arts categories (art, theatre, dance, film, performances)
  • Ideation and negotiation of key, exclusive stories within the arts categories for regional monthly content in print, inclusive of artist profiles, trend stories and meticulously reported industry news features
  • Accountability for tracking, creation and assignments of all arts and culture content online and on social media platforms across Tatler Asia Group, with frequent collaboration with arts writers around the region
  • Representation of Tatler Asia Group at industry events
  • Uphold high standards of editorial integrity and competitiveness
  • Collaboration with sales, commercial and events teams to enhance Tatler’s position within the arts communities and foster engagement with key clients


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury media and content creation
  • Comprehensive understanding of the arts industry and news, and a strong network of industry leaders in local and international markets
  • Strong ability for internal and external communication, coordination and implementation
  • Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading and writing
  • Excellent motivational and communication skills
